Our darling cat Halo is missing. He disappeared when we were out of town over the Christmas holiday. We have looked and looked. In the neighborhood, in the shelters, and the traffic reports. No Halo. We are so sad. We kind of let him fade into the past, until last week when Kiera spent 10 minutes or so arranging the magnets on the side of the fridge.

Our fat boy Halo may have used up all of his nine lives. We are still hoping some nice family thought all 20 pound of him was a stray and took him in. Sherman (our other cat) is sad. He was already a little mentally unstable, but this put him over the edge. Poor guy.

Anyone seen this sweet boy?

Oh no that is so sad! I hope he is doing ok wherever he is. He was big indeed. Kiera, I love your leopard dress. You've got style!
I dreamt last night that Halo came home. But alas he was not there this morning when I fed Sherman.
Is his name a video game reference? So sad. Hope you find him one of these days!
So cute. I wish I had that fat cat here instead of the mangy, starving, patches of fur missing, scrawny, cat Josh brought home. He found it in the barn with the horses and felt sorry for it. Trouble is, I feel queezy and sick everytime I look at it. It stays outside, but still it's always right there in every window I look out.
Alack, Halo is missing! That is a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad thing. I hope that she is happy wherever she is. She has been a Callaway institution for a long time.

Oh Halo! I will forever wallow in the guilt of you disappearing on the very weekend I was feeding you. Please know I love you and John too...and if you heard our little disagreement on who had to go out in the rain to put food in your bowls I'm so sorry. We had yours and Sherman's best interests at heart; we were just being selfish for a minute. John did prove himself a gentleman and you got your food but I don't know if you even got to enjoy it! You haven't come back and we all miss you. Please know you are loved and there is one sad, guilt-ridden lady who dreams you will return one day. (Seriously--it's a recurring dream!) I'm sooo sorry! I love you Halo!
