Yosemite in April. Wow. I love this place. So many fond memories. Our kids got their first trip in October last year, but alas, there was not a drop of water to be found on that trip. This year the falls were in full effect. Amazing. The park was pretty crowded (guess everyone wanted to see the water, too), but still ever filled with natural beauty, wildness and vistas.
We did a little cooking over the open fire...
and a little camping...
gave Kiera nightmares about bears...
did a little hiking...
climbed treacherous logs over snow-melted rivers...
got really, really dirty...
carried cranky kids around...
had a lot of fun with friends...
and with 17 kids and 11 adults, we created 'Total Chaos' where ever we went.

all i can say is...wow. how many campsites did you have to use for that group?? haven't been there since i was a kid. beautiful! i guess that slightly beats memphis camping??

Yosemite is so beautiful. Dave and I went there a while back before we had kids. I have a feeling it would be a different experience now. Dave still has his "I Made it to the top of Half Dome" shirt. Looks like you guys had a blast. When are coming to TN for a visit?
looks like a blast... we'll all have to camp there sometime soon! (it is, in our "backyard", after all!!)
Total Chaos is right!! That was such a great trip and I'm so glad you guys moved here so that we can do stuff like this all the time!
Holy crap Brit! Do you ever sleep at home? Your life is one big awesome adventure! I may go out of the house one of these days, and then I just think...I'm tired...maybe some other day.
Good thing you guys moved out there. There was never this much fun to be had in Memphis.
